The material of the mailer box---Corrugated paper

The structure of corrugated paper
The basic structure of corrugated paper is a smooth kraft paper and wavy paper (collectively called paper core). In the past, some or all of the content of kraft paper was wood pulp, about 200 to 250g, with strong breaking resistance and supporting capacity. However, due to environmental protection and cost factors in the past two to thirty years, the content of wood pulp in kraft paper has been reduced and mixed with Waste paper, and the thickness is much thinner than before, usually 120 to 160g, and occasionally 200g paper is used. As for the paper core, it is all recycled from waste paper, and its thickness has been changed from 130 to 160g to 100 to 140g.

The purpose of folding and editing this section of corrugated paper
Most of the packaging on the market is almost paper packaging, which is not only lighter in weight, but also has many styles, and various patterns can be designed to embellish it. The types of paper packaging are also divided into many types. Generally, more expensive items are packaged in cartons, shopping packages are mostly paper bags, and more important or documents, files, etc. are basically packaged in kraft paper. Kraft paper is used for packaging with high strength and is stronger than ordinary paper.
The most important use of corrugated paper is the outer packaging. Due to the prosperous printing technology, corrugated paper also has a variety of styles. Nowadays, it not only plays the role of outer packaging, but also inner packaging or paper products. Let‘s start with the seemingly the same, but each has different corrugated patterns. In the early stage of the corrugated pattern, only the A-shape is needed, which has a high bearing capacity but uses more materials. Therefore, B and C-flute  are developed under different needs. The B-shape corrugation has a narrower wave amplitude, a shorter wave and a smaller bearing capacity, but Less materials are used. C-flute  corrugateds are as wide as A-flute , but shorter than B-flute , so C-corrugated paper is thinner than A and B-corrugated paper. corrugated E began to be popular more than ten years ago, corrugated F appeared a few years ago, and G-flute  appeared in 2014-2015 (corrugated paper has A, B, C, E, F, G, H but no D-flute  , Because the packaging box is no longer purely designed to maintain the product, it also plays a role in decoration, publicity, and so on. The difference between the E, F, and G-flute is that the corrugated patterns are finer, which is good for maintenance but not rough. For some packaging boxes, the method of mounting powder gray cards on the corrugated paper can reduce the cost. For example, a thin corrugated pattern matched with a thinner powder-gray card is not easy to show corrugated pattern, which can reduce the cost. It is now more common in the packaging of high-end consumer products such as cosmetics and mobile phones.
